The Investment Associate will primarily support commercial real estate debt and equity originators and equity asset managers and will be involved in all aspects of the mortgage origination and equity acquisition process including underwriting, research, due diligence, negotiations, deal structuring, and closing. Financial modeling, investment analysis and preparation of internal investment memoranda are the core aspects of the job. The candidate will also participate in internal and external client meetings, presentations to senior management, and property/market tours. This position offers an outstanding opportunity to develop a solid career in commercial real estate, work on large and complex transactions, and interact with many of the premier players in the industry. Requirements

  • Working knowledge of various commercial real estate asset classes including office buildings, shopping centers, multifamily properties, industrial buildings, and other specialty asset types.
  • Understanding of various debt products including senior mortgages, mezzanine and subordinated loans, and preferred equity.
