About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Quality Production Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL! This is an on-site position that currently supports a 4x10 work schedule on Shift C Friday – Sunday 6:00AM – 6:30PM. Initial training and future support may occur on variable shift. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and may change in the future based on business needs.
Position Responsibilities: Assists with review and validation of product non-conformances and dispositions, quality procedures and verification of engineering requirements. Supports analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes. Participates in the investigations to determine root cause(s) of nonconformances of plans production material and processes. Ability to apply basic knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. Gathers data and provides recommendations/solutions to disposition nonconformance(s) of plans, products, or processes. Assists with the development, modification, and documentation of actions process improvements to ensure effective corrective/preventive action. Supports concurrence and obtains commitments to support program resolution. Validates that corrective actions are effective in eliminating the cause(s) of product or process nonconformances. Plans and conducts product and process audits to ensure that material is produced in accordance with applicable guidance and is conforming with engineering requirements. Works under general supervision. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of experience working in Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
• 1+ years of experience in Quality Management System (QMS)
• 1+ years of experience gathering data and performing Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
• This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
• This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
