About The Position
We are looking for an Associate Quality Engineer who can develop and implement techniques to ensure the solution works as intended and doesn't have any critical errors. As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will assist with verifying and validating whether products/solutions meet specified requirements. You will work towards quality assurance objectives and processes, monitoring and evaluating testing results against the predetermined objectives, and applying recommended actions for improvements on a single initiative or small components of multiple initiatives. You will work closely with development teams to design testing strategies and integrate testing into the development process. Additionally, you will support testing (e.g., regression, functional, data validation, system integration, load, or performance tests) for new and existing functionality. Your responsibilities will include executing and automating test cases, working with developers and other stakeholders, documenting and analyzing test results, and recommending corrective action. You will also research, recommend, and learn to implement new testing technologies and practices, such as incorporating machine learning. Collaboration is key, as you will share lessons learned regarding performance and reliability issues with all stakeholders including developers, other SREs, operations teams, and project management teams. Furthermore, you will support more senior engineers in managing DevOps capabilities using continuous integration/continuous delivery toolsets and automation, while focusing on learning and growing your skill sets to enhance autonomy in testing and development processes.
