In this vital role you will perform and document laboratory testing in support of product quality, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and contributing to the delivery of safe and effective therapies to patients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree OR Associate’s + 6 months of Quality Control / Laboratory work experience OR High school/GED + 2 years of Quality Control / Laboratory work experience
  • Must pass the Ishihara color vision test.

Nice To Haves

  • Educational background in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.
  • Previous experience in a GMP regulated industry
  • Previous experience in Laboratory testing or Research
  • Hands on experience in one or more of the following: UV Spectrophotometry, Solo VPE, HPLC, Turbidimeter, pH meters, Instron, and/or Conductivity Meters.
  • Experience in laboratory systems such as LIMS and EMPOWER.
  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to follow assignments through to completion
  • Demonstrate ability to interact with regulatory agencies
  • Strong communication skills (both written and oral, English and Spanish)
  • Strong skill in working independently and to effectively interact with various levels

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory testing and approval for compendial methods
  • May prepare solutions
  • May perform general troubleshooting to laboratory equipment following standard operating procedures
  • May review analytical data following GMP guidelines and ALCOA principles
  • Perform laboratory documentation and data entry, review, analysis, and communication of results
  • Perform general lab housekeeping
  • Maintain/operate specialized equipment
  • May participate in document revision process
  • May participate in audits, initiatives and projects that may be departmental or organizational in scope
  • Introduce new techniques to the lab, including method transfers, validations, and protocols
  • May conduct lab investigations
  • May interact with outside resources
