Moog Industrial Group is looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role you will report to the Manager Quality Assurance and will work on-site in East Aurora, New York.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in other technical field with three (3) years quality experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with APQP QMS Systems is desired

Responsibilities

  • Inspection Planning: Develop non‑complex production inspection plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly and test, engineering procedures, and first article inspections.
  • Quality Planning: Implementation, and administration of cost-effective and unique Quality Programs. This includes facilitation of Quality led meetings such as Material Review Board, Change Review Board and Corrective Action review Board.
  • Contract Compliance: Maintain compliance with contractual changes related to quality
  • Project Engineering: Performs varied technical tasks requiring the creative application of engineering concepts, statistical methods, and Quality Technology. Lead non‑routine problem analysis such as product improvement studies or process improvement studies
  • Training: Train and educate teams in program specific contractual quality requirements.
  • Program Support: Provide technical assistance to Manufacturing, A & T, Vendors, Customers, and other Engineering disciplines in the resolution of fabrication, and field related problems
  • Failure Analysis/Corrective Action: Support Failure analysis by utilizing organizational, technical knowledge, analytical and communication skills
