Interns will work full-time hours during the summer. Job Purpose The Casting Purchasing team is responsible for managing supplier relationships and sourcing activities for key cast components used in CNH products. By working with suppliers on technical requirements, cost, and delivery, the team ensures reliable sourcing while supporting product development and manufacturing operations. As an Associate Purchasing - Casting Intern, you will support commodity buyers in day-to-day operations and gain exposure to supplier management, technical requirements, and sourcing strategies.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates may be pursuing an Associates, Technical, Bachelor's, or Post-graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting commodity buyers with supplier account management and daily workload
  • Pulling engineering drawings, reviewing and understanding technical requirements, and preparing RFQ (request for quote) packages
  • Maintaining a Power BI database with updated technical information
  • Following up with suppliers and assisting in the organization of technical reviews
  • Preparing and maintaining meeting records to support purchasing activities and supplier engagement
