About The Position
The Associate Provost for Academic Affairs collaborates with the Provost/Senior Vice-President for Academic Affairs and the Academic Deans to implement the mission and vision of the University. The Associate Provost enhances communication and cooperation among the administration, the faculty, and all the colleges of the University by serving as a liaison between Academic Affairs and the Provost's Office. The primary responsibility of the Associate Provost is to provide oversight and coordination of University planning, assessment and institutional research functions. The Associate Provost works closely with the Office of Educational Assessment, and with a broad range of constituents (internal and external) to carry out program review and assessment activities and ensure that results are incorporated into strategic planning and continuous improvement of student learning efforts.
