The position involves managing small engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams focused on delivering products from kick-off to release for customers. The candidate will develop, define, and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables at a portfolio level, ensuring full project ownership and being the go-to person for all internal teams regarding project-related questions. The role requires collaboration with other program managers in the PMO team to track project metrics and KPIs such as schedule, risks, scope, budget, cost entitlement, and manufacturability for the entire Analog & Connectivity portfolio. The candidate will maintain discipline and practice guidelines, processes, and execution methodologies for continuous improvement in project execution. Building trust and collaborating closely with functional leadership from other teams to identify and remove execution roadblocks, mitigate risks, and improve efficiencies is essential. The candidate will also work with demand creation, sales, and marketing to align execution and sample priorities with market and customer needs, guiding the team in preparing customer-requested RFI and RFQ responses. Effective communication with leadership and stakeholders is crucial to keep them informed of project status and to escalate issues early. The candidate will guide the team in preparing and reporting project status updates at management decision point reviews and cross-functional project progress reviews.
