Requirements

  • B.S. or above from an accredited college or university in an engineering or a related scientific discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years of air quality experience.
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge of Texas and Federal air quality regulations.
  • Able to manage technical scopes of work with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of engineering concepts such as chemical processes and emissions control technologies.
  • A high level of professional ethics.
  • Strong analytical skills to complete all necessary project work.
  • Effective time management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Social skills and professionalism necessary to establish and maintain long-term working relationships with clients and co-workers.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite (e.g., Word/Excel/Teams/SharePoint).
  • Understanding of software and tools applicable to projects (e.g., ACTS, AP-42, Promax, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Support clients by providing air permit and compliance solutions.
  • Assist with a variety of air quality projects, including New source review (NSR), non-attainment NSR (NNSR), Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting, and Title V permitting.
  • Conduct emission modeling, emission calculations, and emissions inventory development.
  • Perform Best available control technology (BACT) assessments.
  • Conduct regulatory applicability analyses for local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Quality control of personal work.
  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Develop and maintain trusting professional relationships with clients and staff.
  • Participate in business development activities to grow the Denver office and diversify the client base.
