About The Position

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Associate Project Manager with a Secret security clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: Assist with the day-to-day management of project tasks, including tracking progress, updating schedules, and following up on deliverables. Prepare and distribute activity and status reports for various projects, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Support the Project Management Office (PMO) by maintaining project documentation, organizing meetings, and managing project-related communications. Help identify and mitigate potential project risks and issues, escalating to the Project Manager as needed. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather updates and ensure alignment on project goals. Develop and conduct analysis on datasets to provide detailed analysis and reports surrounding daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistical analysis. Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders. Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs. Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or administrative role, preferably within a project-driven environment.
  • 1-2 years of experience using Microsoft Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience with providing analysis of existing processes, requirements, functionality, and systems to determine how a system works.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with basic project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is a plus.
