This position will focus on assessment, design, and implementation of security and communications for the power grid systems. A typical day as a Project Engineer might include: Apply fundamental concepts, practices and procedures within the power system focus area to support engineering tasks and project goals. Assist teams that support customers with the design, installation, commissioning and operation of automation and/or protection systems, both on-site and from SEL offices. Complete assigned work using established procedures and working under immediate supervision. Complete assigned work within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget while focusing on quality and safety. Pay Range Data: We anticipate filling this position as an Associate Project Engineer - $84,240 - $124,461. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
