About The Position

Dibble is looking for a skillful and highly motivated Associate Project Accountant to join our Accounting Team in our Phoenix, AZ office. This dynamic individual will be responsible for financial administration and reports required for effective financial management of projects. This includes accurate, timely development and maintenance of project cost accounting, reporting and analyses and effective communication with project managers.

Requirements

  • Minimum associate's degree required, Accounting or Business degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years accounting experience required.
  • A/E/C industry experience preferred.
  • Strong experience in Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision software required.
  • Strong technology skills with proficiency in all basic Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat or Revu Bluebeam software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process project set-up, change orders, budget re-allocations, COI's, project close-out and archiving for assigned projects.
  • Prepare monthly invoices and reports for assigned projects while adhering to quality standards and deadlines.
  • Prepare sub-consultant ICA's.
  • Distribute renewal certificates of insurance for projects assigned.
  • Assist in collections of aged receivables as necessary.
  • Recommend and implement agreed process improvements to various accounting system projects.
  • Provide backup support for billing and accounting tasks as needed.
