The Students & Grads Tech team builds Capital One’s pipeline of top junior talent by delivering a program that communicates our technology innovation and impact while developing outstanding associates at the start of their careers. We are looking for an exceptional associate to deliver our Tech Student & Grads Talent and Performance Management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for attracting, developing, and retaining talent as well as proven experience in leading projects across multiple functions. Requirements

  • Associate's degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working in program or project management or at least 1 year of working in employee development or engagement or a combination of both

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least two years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or consulting
  • Experience working at a technology company
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience interpreting metrics and trends
  • Experience in Campus Programs or Recruiting
  • Proficient knowledge of G Suites including Google Slides and Google Sheets
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contacts
  • Strong empathetic communication skills with varying levels of leaders and associates

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver training programs for Associates and People Leaders on Capital One's Performance and Talent Management Process
  • Hold office hours to guide People Leaders through performance-related scenarios
  • Assess Performance and Talent Management data, identifying key trends
  • Present proposals to key leaders, informed by talent and performance management data, to monitor and report on program health
  • Collaborate with the Program Team and HR Business Partners to assess and implement changes informed by Performance Management data
  • Serve as the primary POC including communicating with associates, managers, business leaders, stakeholders, and other partners across a range of levels, business functions to ensure program success
  • Support data initiatives by Manage comprehensive communications across multiple channels including team calendars, Google Sites, email, newsletters, and Slack
  • While this role is based in either McLean or Richmond, travel to either of the locations will be required 2-3 times annually (travel sponsored by by Capital One)
