Responsible for supporting development, design, implementation and management of residential, commercial, and industrial energy efficiency and energy assistance programs for Avista customers. Accountable for attaining specific program goals and milestones in support of meeting corporate business objectives while ensuring that the programs are in compliance with regulatory guidelines. The position supports the residential rebates process including email management, rebate processing, answering phone calls from customers and troubleshooting and problem solving on their behalf. The role also supports the home energy audit program as needed and may support energy efficiency outreach and education efforts. The role may also include additional program support and other duties as assigned.

  • Coordinates and implements the daily operation of Energy Efficiency programs.
  • Reviews program policies and program goals with program managers responsible for ensuring policies and goals are met.
  • Follows program procedures and guidelines as well as suggesting areas for improvement as appropriate.
  • Provides program support as needed.
  • Adheres to specifications and quality control procedures.
  • Interacts and may provide direction to established vendor, dealer, contractor, and fulfillment services.
  • Conducts training and workshops for company employees and outside agents as appropriate.
  • May be responsible for reconciliation and invoicing for vendor, dealer and contractors.
  • Assists on customer complaints, dealer complaints, and maintaining dealer/contractor/vendor adherence to established program procedures.
  • Assists Energy Efficiency team to achieve specific Energy Efficiency program goals and targets.
  • Expected to deliver a high level of customer focus to ensure a positive customer experience outcome.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in marketing, communication, business or related field.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and 1-2 years of related or relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of natural gas and electric construction preferred.
  • Demonstrated dispute/disagreement resolution skills.
  • Past experience should demonstrate the ability to excel in a dynamic collaborative team environment.
  • Strong facilitation skills are a plus.
  • General knowledge of business/office processes and equipment.
  • Intermediate level computer skills (i.e. MS Office Suite).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound customer service and interpersonal skills - work as liaison between both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Attention to detail including proofreading.
  • Requires irregular work hours.
