The Department of Management in the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech seeks applications for one tenure-track faculty position to begin August 2026. This position is for the main campus in Blacksburg, Virginia. This search is specifically for an associate professor, tenured at a strong research institution, or an advanced assistant professor. This is an organizational behavior/human resources position. As such, we are particularly interested in candidates with strong research and teaching interests in organizational behavior and/or human resources. Ideal applicants will have demonstrated abilities in research and doctoral student mentorship and can contribute to the strong research culture of the Pamplin College of Business. The Department of Management consists of 36 full-time faculty with an impressive range of leading-edge research and teaching expertise in various areas of management. Ward Bartlett, and Marla White. Our faculty publish in top journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, and others.
