About The Position

This position is not eligible for H1B Sponsorship This position will be supporting OSF College of Nursing in Rockford, IL POSITION SUMMARY: The Simulation Coordinator provides oversight of all educational simulation and simulation research activities and serves as a leader in promoting the use of education, performance improvement, and innovation of simulation educational strategies. This includes managing resources including space and equipment, as well as collaborating with staff; developing simulation curriculum in collaboration with course faculty; ensuring the effective creation, modification, and execution of high-quality initiatives based on best practices in curriculum and instructional design; and participating in simulation research.
Requirements
- Doctorate in nursing
- 5 years’ experience in simulation and simulation curriculum development.
- Educational research with health care emphasis.
- Healthcare simulation certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
