About The Position

In accordance with the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and in collaboration with the Director of Education, the Associate Professor, Radiologic Technologist Coordinator serves as an educator, facilitator, consultant, researcher, and leader to employees, physicians, students, and the community by providing educational programs across specialty areas as needed. This role collaborates with hospital department members to perform duties essential to the achievement of departmental goals related to clinical education. The primary purpose of the position is to function as a planner, developer, consultant, coordinator, resource person, and instructor to both faculty and students.   Salary is commensurate with experience. There is opportunity for salary advancement based on attainment of designated faculty service levels. Applicants without a Master’s degree will be placed at the lower end of the salary scale until the degree is obtained.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree or enrolled and actively pursuing a Master's Degree (must be obtained within 4 years)
  • Current Unrestricted New York State Registered Licensure in Radiologic Technology
  • 3 years experience is a Rad Tech
