About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Texas Medical Branch seeks a clinical faculty provider specializing in general pediatrics, with a special interest in Developmental Behavioral Pediatric medicine. This position will hold clinical responsibilities that will consist of providing patient care services diagnosing and treating a range of conditions, including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism, learning difficulties, irritability, and aggression. Additionally, this position will involve teaching medical students and Residents rotating through, and the supervision of APPs.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved medical school.
  • Completed an approved residency training program in Pediatrics.
  • Possess a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
  • Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Pediatrics or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care services diagnosing and treating a range of conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism, learning difficulties, irritability, and aggression.
  • Teach medical students and Residents rotating through the department.
  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
