The College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona invites applications for a position as the Applied Aviation Science Department Chair, starting in Summer 2026, in support of our Air Traffic Management, Applied Meteorology, and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems programs. Applied Aviation Sciences teaching assignments may include a variety of courses within the associated degree programs. The candidate must have experience in leadership positions of large organizations with diverse mission sets. Applicants shall be able to demonstrate the ability to teach and develop courses across all levels of undergraduate aviation education, with a passion for enhancing student success. Successful candidates will have a strong commitment to undergraduate education both in the classroom and through experiential learning opportunities, including faculty mentored undergraduate research, and have demonstrated potential for scholarly activity.
