About The Position

Indiana Packers is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team to fulfill our Associate Production Peak Peak Season-Cold Side positions. Production Associates play a critical role in the processing, packaging, and quality control of our meat products to ensure customer satisfaction and food safety standards.

Requirements

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to work in a cold, fast-paced, and physically demanding environment.
Must be available to work from August 2026 - February 2027.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team setting.
Compliance with all company policies, including food safety and workplace safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in meat processing, food production, or manufacturing is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Perform various tasks in the meat processing facility, including cutting, trimming, deboning, packaging, and labeling meat products.
Operate and maintain production machinery and equipment as needed.
Ensure all food safety and quality assurance standards are met in accordance with company policies and USDA regulations.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling, processing, and sanitation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work efficiently to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

This manufacturing position earns a competitive wage of $19.50 per hour for the first shift and $20.50 per hour for the second shift.
