About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Associate Production Coordinator to join the 787 Interiors Responsibility Center, South Carolina (IRCSC) Team located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd Shift.

Position Responsibilities: Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support complex production and product support activities, flight test, etc Monitors and analyzes work in process Updates status of parts and materials using automated systems The ability to pick and kit purchase parts per delivery schedule. Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability Analyzes problems and resolves or reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays Works under limited supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in the materials planning or inventory control process role in a manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift
• Ability to walk, stand, climb and descend stairs, bend and lift items, package materials and unload materials from containers frequently throughout the shift
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• 1+ years of Warehouse experience in kitting and picking to schedule.
• 1+ years of experience in Inventory Management

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience with inventory control systems and maintenance recordkeeping systems, such as ERP, Ariba, CMES, Cribmaster, CTMA, and Microsoft Excel
• 1+ years of experience with the ERPLN application
• 1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing principles
• 1+ years of experience operating a Forklift
• Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
