About The Position

BGS Engineering is seeking an Associate Product Review Engineer to join the KC-135 Liaison Engineering Team located at the Boeing Jacksonville, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying knowledge of Engineering principles to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Additionally, the candidate will have demonstrated the capability establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external customers, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 2+ years of Engineering experience.
  • Experience interpreting and using engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM), Model Based Engineering (MBE), CATIA, ENOVIA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of Engineering experience.
  • 2+ years of Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE) Authority experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with applying knowledge of design principles to assess and resolve product issues through the product lifecycle.
  • Experience interfacing with Operations and Engineering disciplines.
  • 2+ years of experience with developing dispositions for aircraft non-conformances.
  • 2+ years of experience with military or commercial derivative aircraft.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment and/or business unit teams.
  • 2+ years of customer interface experience.
  • Universal Product Review certification.
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance in the past 24 months.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site engineering support at the aircraft maintenance location.
  • Develop technical solutions and engineering data.
  • Act as a principal point of contact for internal and external customers.
  • Provide steadfast technical support around diagnosing and resolving issues encountered in the aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Review defect and damage conditions; establish root cause and provide acceptable disposition instructions.
  • Participate in status meetings and technical reviews, support monthly metrics development and submittals.
  • Drive efficiency in operations by collaborating with design, manufacturing, and stress counterparts.
  • Support trade studies, design improvements, and optimization efforts.
  • Ensure customer compliance with Boeing standards.
