About The Position
Wego Chemical Group is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join our dynamic team in Great Neck, NY. As a global distributor and sourcing partner of chemicals and ingredients, we have established ourselves as a key player in the specialty chemical markets, providing comprehensive supply chain solutions to end-use manufacturers across North America, LATAM, and EMEA. With over 45 years of experience and a dedicated team of over 200 professionals across 9 offices worldwide, we pride ourselves on our family-owned values and commitment to excellence. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various departments including marketing, product management, and sales to drive growth in existing, new, and adjacent products. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of functions within the product management department, such as product strategy and development, supply chain management, costing, and supplier relationship management. You will work hand-in-hand with sales and marketing teams to enhance product growth and adoption, ensuring that we meet and exceed our customers' expectations. Your key responsibilities will include managing product-related inquiries, developing go-to-market strategies, conducting market research, and optimizing pricing and costs through ongoing analysis. You will also be responsible for forecasting and managing global inventory levels, identifying and vetting vendors for new product sourcing, and communicating supply chain updates to our global sales force. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering superior service to both internal and external customers.
