The Derivatives Product Manager will assist in delivering critical projects across Liquidnet, specifically focusing on futures and options. This role requires an understanding of derivatives and trading platforms. The Associate Product Manager will concentrate on key delivery portfolios within the change organization, including transformation and regulatory initiatives, while also supporting day-to-day business activities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a product management, business analysis, or technical role within electronic trading.
  • Strong understanding of futures and equity options markets.
  • Solid knowledge of electronic trading platforms, workflows, and market structure.
  • Excellent project management, coordination, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability, with the capacity to translate complex concepts into actionable requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Broader financial markets knowledge across asset classes.
  • Experience managing or contributing to multi‑month technology delivery projects.
  • Familiarity with FIX protocol, market data, or order routing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the definition, prioritization, and delivery of new derivatives product initiatives across Liquidnet.
  • Lead or support the gathering, documentation, and validation of business and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day work across cross‑functional teams—including Technology, Sales & Trading, Operations, and Compliance—to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
  • Participate in design, build, and testing phases of product and platform enhancements.
  • Track milestones, update project plans, and provide weekly status reporting, including risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support run‑the‑business activities, including defect triage, BAU enhancements, and operational queries.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and change management initiatives across the futures and options product portfolio.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support team objectives and broader business goals.
