About The Position

As an Associate Product Designer at Solace, you’ll help design the healthcare experience of the future alongside experienced product designers, product managers, engineers, and clinicians. This is a hands-on role for early-career designers who want to learn fast, build real products, and see their work shipped to users. You’ll help distill complex healthcare workflows into clear, usable, and thoughtful experiences. You won’t be expected to have everything figured out—but you will be expected to bring curiosity, care, and a strong bias toward action. This role is for the hungry, the ambitious, and the deeply curious. You’re energized by feedback, excited by complexity, and motivated by the idea that good design can make people’s lives meaningfully better. This is an in person role in our Redwood City office, 3 days a week. About Solace By harnessing the power of human connection through technology, Solace is transforming healthcare in the U.S. Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. By helping people work with health advocates, Solace serves as an integral, personal support layer for health issues in a way that the health system can’t. Using proprietary technology to match patients with experienced advocates, Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare and helps individuals and families make informed decisions that result in better outcomes. Solace is a Series B startup founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, and Signalfire. Our U.S.-based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly. This isn’t a place to coast. We’re here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you want to do meaningful work alongside people who care deeply and move fast, you’ll feel at home here. Check out our funding announcement in the Wall Street Journal here.
