About The Position

The Associate Producer supports the development and execution of video projects across all stages of production. Responsibilities include managing schedules, production meetings, and timelines, assisting with script development, and overseeing pre-production logistics such as budgeting, location scouting, casting, and set coordination. The Associate Producer also supports post-production through scheduling reviews, supervising edits, and coordinating with the Art team on graphics. This role collaborates closely with Communications, Training, and other departments to ensure projects are delivered on time and align with organizational objectives. Knowledge of current marketing trends in education is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (video production, film studies, communications)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of people
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Detail oriented and organized, adaptable to tools and processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience casting and scheduling talent is a plus
  • Experience with educational and/or marketing content is a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere is a plus
  • Experience in Director role is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Create production schedules, update timelines, and communicate project statuses
  • Oversee production logistics including but not limited to budget management, location scouting and booking, casting, acquiring and scheduling talent, and resource management
  • Assist in the development of short and long form scripts, from initial concept through final production
  • Assist during shoots by managing talent, running teleprompter, script editing/supervision, and/or assisting with lighting, audio, camera, costume, or set planning
  • Work closely with other teams to facilitate the pre-production process from concepting, planning, production, and delivery
  • As a project lead, the AP will facilitate pre-production needs leading up to filming. This includes but is not limited to creating preliminary schedules, liaising with choreographers, photographers, and other contractors, creating shot lists, facilitating logistics such as concepting, ordering wardrobe for talent, set dec, props, and facilitating rentals for additional equipment.
