An Associate Producer needs to be extremely organized and able to keep up with the fast pace of multiple-episode seasons. The AP needs to be detail-oriented, have a clear understanding of show structure, and be able to work well under pressure. Duties include but are not limited to: Prepare materials and be the point of contact for Writers for episodes Attend pre-pro and recreation meetings Check in with pre-pro about any pending FOIA’s Coordinate materials for pickups with Field Producer Manage, name and organize all archives for each episode Research the case to find news archives Fact check scripts Contacting Interviewees for questions/archives Create Casting and Recreation Documents Address network notes Track releases Prepare web bonus materials Match scripts for network/EP’s/VO Answer any questions from legal Take notes in VO sessions Keep up with milestone and waterfall schedules Attend weekly post meetings QC each episode with SCP/PP Prepare Deliverables Make air calls Jupiter Entertainment Equal Opportunity Employer.
