Your creativity and upbeat attitude will be essential as you tackle sensitive topics and tell character-driven stories. Alongside the team, you'll represent what's happening in your community and connect audiences with the stories that matter. Requirements

  • Television news - 0-2 years
  • High school diploma
  • Knowledge of current events, social media, and industry trends
  • Ability to collaborate
  • News writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be open to travel to discover the important stories in your neighborhood and willing to interact with the community
  • Ability to work different shifts and be flexible with schedule changes

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor s degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, comparable television work experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of general office computer software, newsroom software and basic non-linear editing systems
  • May be required to lift up to five pounds
