The Associate Producer / Contributing Host is responsible for booking guests, contributing story ideas, writing stories, and shooting and hosting field segments for a lifestyle show or digital content for the web. This role involves assisting in the writing and production of broadcast or online publications, contributing to the content process, and making solid decisions to build the lifestyle show. The Associate Producer will execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all digital devices, write, produce, and edit material that appeals to target audiences, and research content topics using various information sources. The position requires hosting 6-8 completed packages per week, with a goal of a minimum of two packages per day, which include studio recordings and field segments. Additionally, the Associate Producer will fill in for the studio show pre-taping when the host is on vacation or assignment, assist the lifestyle producer with online and social media for the show, and clip paid client segments for digital posting. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
