About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position is for 1st shift.

Requirements

• More than 1 year of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
• More than 1 year of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
• More than 1 year of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
• More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• More than 1 year of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity
• More than 1 year of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
• More than 1 year of experience negotiating directly with suppliers
• More than 1 year of experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions

Responsibilities

• Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
• Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
• Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
