Our company is actively seeing an Associate, Private Investment Reporting analyst to support the day-to-day maintenance of alternative investments data and complex ownership structures. We are considering candidates in Chicago, Reston, or Atlanta.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Mathematics degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in financial services focused on reporting, preferably in wealth management.
- Ability to manage and interpret sophisticated and complex data sets.
- Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook
- Strong ability to quickly learn proprietary software and databases.
- Must be a team player willing to contribute to the continual development of the Private Investment Reporting process and overall Cresset Team
- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and enhance the business in keeping with Cresset's values and culture.
Nice To Haves
- General knowledge of private equity investments and related fund structures preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for internal data reporting needs across the firm's investments in private capital.
- Maintain and oversee valuation and transaction updates and auditing procedures using data derived from multiple third-party sources.
- Assist with the integration and reconciliation of large data sets across multiple systems.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of data integrity for private investment reporting and other reconciliation processes.
- Work with fund administrators and other vendors to establish and verify accuracy of data feeds.
- Take initiative to identify and implement scalability & reporting process improvements.
