About The Position

Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a midlevel associate to its private equity fund formation group in LA. Expect direct access to senior partners, hands -on training, and real client interaction on cutting -edge work.

Requirements

• Class years 2018–2021 from a nationally recognized firm or fund practice
• Solid experience in sponsor -side fund formation and investor negotiations
• Strong drafting, organizational rigor, and a steady handle on timelines

Responsibilities

• Sponsor -side formation for private equity funds and related vehicles
• Draft, negotiate, and refine core fund documents and investor materials
• Support fundraisings and closings, coordinate with tax, regulatory, and finance teams
• Daily client contact and responsibility scaled to experience, with mentorship baked in

Benefits

• Annual base compensation range: $310,000 to $420,000, plus discretionary performance bonus and comprehensive benefits including health care, retirement, paid time off, parental leave, life insurance, and FSAs.
