We are seeking an experienced Associate Principal to join our Orlando leadership team. In this role, you will oversee architectural projects from early concept through completion, lead a market sector, grow client relationships, and guide staff development while helping set the strategic direction for the office. Requirements

15+ years of architectural experience with leadership on complex projects.
Registered Architect with a NAAB-accredited degree.
Demonstrated ability to lead clients and win work through relationships and presentations.
Experience overseeing multiple project teams, mentoring staff, and managing delivery.
Strong technical knowledge of codes, building systems, documentation quality, and risk management.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a defined market sector in the Orlando region.
Actively source, pursue, and win new clients and project opportunities.
Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Represent the firm through networking, industry engagement, and community involvement.
Direct multiple projects from Pre‑Design through Construction Administration.
Manage scope, budgets, schedules, and overall project delivery.
Guide design execution in partnership with Project Designers.
Oversee consultant coordination, contracts, and communication.
Review drawings, specifications, and project manuals for clarity, quality, and compliance.
Lead building systems evaluation, detailing, and code interpretation.
Identify and mitigate technical, project, and professional liability risks.
Mentor and develop emerging staff; support staffing decisions and performance reviews.
Promote a collaborative and innovative studio culture.
Encourage teams to represent and market the firm’s capabilities.
Work cross‑functionally with design, technical, and construction‑adjacent partners to ensure alignment on cost, schedule, and quality goals.
