About The Position

The ServiceNow ITOM Consultant will be responsible for implementing and configuring various ServiceNow ITOM modules, particularly focusing on CMDB Discovery and Service Graph Connector. The role requires a good understanding of networking concepts, including DMZ zones and cloud environments, as well as basic knowledge of industrial control systems and OT network functions. The consultant will work on populating OT assets in the CMDB, setting up integrations with tools like Industrial Defender, and creating workflows in the ITSM process. Additionally, the consultant will document developments, prepare training materials, and train stakeholders on new processes.

Requirements

• 8-14 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM modules.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and cloud environments.
• Basic understanding of industrial control systems and OT network functions.
• Experience in scripting and SQL queries.
• Ability to document technical details and prepare training materials.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience implementing OT Visibility and OT Asset Management.
• Experience with ServiceNow ConnectedOps, ITOM-Discovery, ITOM-ServiceMapping, ITOM-Governance, and ITOM-Cloud Insights.
• Familiarity with the CSDM framework.

Responsibilities

• Implement Midserver configuration for CMDB Discovery and Service Graph Connector.
• Understand and apply networking concepts in various environments.
• Implement OT Visibility and OT Asset Management modules in ServiceNow.
• Populate OT Assets and Devices in CMDB for OT tables.
• Set up integration with Industrial Defender Tool.
• Create catalogue items and workflows in ITSM processes.
• Script automated processes including business rules and actions.
• Develop ServiceNow ITOM configuration including CMDB data alignment and automated data population.
• Document development configurations and prepare training materials.
• Implement the CSDM framework for Operational Technology.
• Train stakeholders on new processes and procedures.
• Identify issues, gather data, analyze, and present solutions.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure technically feasible solutions.
• Represent project stakeholders throughout planning, development, and release processes.
