Associate Principal - High School (In Anticipation of Future Openings)

About The Position

Guide and monitor the shared vision of the principal, including supporting personalized instruction and learning through collaborative leadership, innovative strategies, and flexible space utilization. Direct and manage the instructional program and supervise operations and personnel at the campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with District policies, success of instructional program, and operations of all campus activities.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Educational Administration
Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
Eligible to be a certified appraiser for the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) or other approved evaluation system
Ability to lead the administrative team under the guidance of the campus principal
Ability to leverage curriculum, technology, and physical spaces for future-ready learning and instruction
Ability to cultivate social emotional learning to ensure the well-being of all students
Ability to support implementation of District goals of future-ready learning, balanced assessment, and focus on personalized learning and growth for all students
Ability to oversee procedures and processes to maintain a safe and healthy environment for staff and students
Ability to interpret data
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
Minimum of three years of experience as a classroom teacher
