The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a skilled individual to maintain and automate a large, complex cloud-based computing environment. This role involves providing technical guidance and serving as a liaison between internal departments. The successful candidate will drive the creation of new infrastructure and environments, which are critical to the continued growth and adoption of broad cloud and automation goals across the business. Responsibilities include designing, configuring, implementing, and managing a fully automated workflow for provisioning and maintaining a complex, highly available cloud environment using infrastructure as code. The role also requires developing and maintaining a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures for deploying services to the cloud. Additionally, the candidate will manage DevOps development activities and complex development tasks, working with tools such as Docker, Kafka, and container management systems. Leading the development of technology roadmaps and end-of-life technology plans is also a key responsibility.

  • Participate in cloud computing environment build-outs, software installation, maintenance, and support.
  • Manage multi-cluster Kubernetes environments with AWS EKS.
  • Develop reusable terraform modules for dynamic workload scaling on AWS.
  • Build automated CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, integrating GitHub.
  • Integrate and manage JFrog Artifactory with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Assess and plan for capacity needs within the cloud platform.
  • Communicate project and operational service issues to senior management.
  • Manage and participate in the implementation of production changes during maintenance windows.
  • Write and maintain documentation of relevant systems, procedures, and processes.
  • Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer, DevOps Engineer, System Engineer, or related.
  • Experience managing multi-cluster Kubernetes environments with AWS EKS.
  • Experience developing reusable terraform modules for AWS.
  • Experience building automated CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
  • Experience integrating and managing JFrog Artifactory with CI/CD pipelines.
