About The Position

The Business Operations and Strategy team drives strategic, operational, and organizational improvements across the company’s product areas and functions.
The team, also known as Business Operations (BizOps), operates like an internal consulting group for Google's leadership working on a range of critical and high-priority projects and issues. BizOps works in small teams to find solutions. This includes pressing topics such as shaping how we go to market with generative AI, defining and executing our strategy on company-wide priorities like operational excellence and sustainability, developing business generation strategies across our consumer and Business-to-Business (B2B) products, and exploring “moonshots” to find the next big idea. The BizOps team is at the forefront of Google's fast-moving strategic priorities, addressing operational challenges and enabling innovation.

In this role, you will own workstreams/analyses, and be the expert on key topics and data. You will communicate recommendations to executives and influence strategic decisions by building consensus and mobilizing towards execution. You will build lasting relationships with colleagues across the Alphabet, enabling you to execute rapidly and cross-functionally. You will also be a part of a tight-knit community with a focus on mentorship, learning, and development.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $144,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in management consulting at the project lead or managerial level, or equivalent experience in corporate strategy.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced degree in a Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
• 5 years of experience in a management consulting firm with a strong performance trajectory.
• Experience in technology, media, or a telecom company, or education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience in strategy or in a business operations environment, leading client projects and owning operational and strategic initiatives.
• Experience guiding consultants and excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, modeling, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Structure ambiguous business issues for the Google executive team.
• Gather and analyze information quickly and solve problems effectively.
• Develop compelling and insightful recommendations.
• Build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision-making within leadership audiences.
• Work with product managers, leadership, and functions to operationalize recommendations.
