About The Position

The Associate Principal - Architecture position requires a seasoned IT professional with 12 years of experience, including at least 3 years specifically on Salesforce.com. The candidate should possess a strong background in Service Oriented Architecture and integration. The role involves developing architecture and design for multiple client engagements, ensuring alignment with business needs. The candidate will be responsible for the overall Financial Services Cloud (FSC) technical solution and its successful implementation, adopting a configure-first approach. This includes high-level solution design, defining development guidelines, and guiding technical leads on dependencies and activity sequencing. The role also requires hands-on involvement in delivering requirements and a thorough understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and MVC framework. Prior experience in other OOPS technologies like Java or .NET is necessary, along with experience in multiple end-to-end implementations of Salesforce.com. The candidate should have a good understanding of various Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and possess strong skills in SFDC configuration, customization, and programming.

Requirements

• 12 years of IT experience with at least 3 years on Salesforce.com.
• Strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background.
• Experience in architecting and designing systems on the Force.com platform.
• Led 2-3 architecture and consulting engagements.
• Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Concepts and MVC framework.
• Prior experience in other OOPS technologies like Java or .NET.
• Experience in multiple end-to-end implementations of Salesforce.com.
• Good understanding of different Salesforce products: Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Experience with SFDC configuration, customization, programming with APEX, Class, Triggers, APIs, Visual Force, LWC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOQL, SOSL.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce.com web services, WSDL, and other integration aspects.
• Experience in ETL processes and using EAI tools.
• In-depth understanding of implementing single sign-on and web security for Salesforce applications.
• Experience in implementing Salesforce-specific design patterns.
• Deployment experience using ANT tool or change set, data migration using data loader and other commercial tools.
• AppExchange product development experience is a plus.
• Deep understanding of the evolution of the Salesforce platform and its application.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, App Builder, Service Cloud, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect.
• Financial Service Cloud (FSC) Certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and design overall solution architecture.
• Perform feasibility analysis of business requirements from an implementation point of view.
• Engage with CXO level stakeholders and conduct solution workshops.
• Design and propose technical solution options.
• Analyze and design the underlying data model, data flows, interfaces, and integration points.
• Oversee development and quality assurance efforts, providing technical guidance as needed.
• Participate and lead all technical discussions with the team and other stakeholders.
• Participate in technical consulting assignments to compare technology options, ROI calculations, and recommend the right fit solution.
• Participate in presales activities as a solution architect, designing the overall solution.
• Build solution offerings and develop POVs and white papers.
