In the Power, Energy & Infrastructure group, our Associates work in a generalist capacity spanning the following verticals: Oil & Gas Exploration and Production, Midstream, Refining & Marketing, Oilfield Services, Power & Utilities, Renewables & Energy Transition, Sustainable Fuels, Engineering, Procurement & Construction (“EPC”), and Infrastructure. Clients include global corporations, financial sponsors, governments and other key stakeholders. This role is available in our Houston office.

Requirements

  • At least one year of investment banking experience at the associate level (or an equivalent level of experience at a corporate law firm or in the Power, Energy & Infrastructure Industry)
  • Strong interest in Power/Energy/Infrastructure investment banking
  • Top academic performance with comfort operating in an environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
  • Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to multi-task
  • Motivation to work as a team player and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA and/or JD would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analyses and create models
  • Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
  • Interact with client senior executives
  • Help to manage deal processes
  • Mentor and coach Analyst bankers
