About The Position

At Joseph’s Classic Market, Porters and Dishwashers are essential to the success of every department. This role helps ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for customers and team members alike by maintaining cleanliness and supporting daily operations. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to interpret and follow instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude
  • A passion for serving people

Responsibilities

  • Properly clean dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.
  • Clean display windows, shelves, and fixtures
  • Clean shopping carts and hand baskets; retrieve carts from the parking lot throughout the day
  • Remove trash from all departments
  • Operate dishwasher, pallet jack, knives, and other cleaning/warehouse equipment safely
  • Communicate with managers if assistance is needed in any department
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned
