About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate Project Manager is responsible for project coordination and execution. This position requires a high degree of maturity, ethics, and professionalism to ensure control of the company’s expenditures. The APM is responsible for managing projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail or construction project management.
Must function well in a fast-paced environment with high energy and a high sense of urgency, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of installation practices and techniques.
Ability to prepare project documentation and direct project meetings.
Strong analytical and planning skills
Proficient with MS Office Products and Outlook.
Must be able to read floor plans and construction documents.

Responsibilities

Manage the project, ensuring strict adherence to company policies regarding contractor selection
Meet with customer representatives, architects, and engineers to establish project requirements, specifications, and schedules
Monitor and maintain the project schedule
Serve as a liaison between MZ, contractors, and MZ customers
Enforce contractual requirements
Review and approve all change orders
Execute all contract documents
Manage project-specific reporting, orders, support incidents, completion, and closeout
Manage Subcontractor Invoicing/Customer Billing (where applicable)
Order and manage equipment
Implementation of an effective project management strategy
Provide Crews to Subcontractors with shipment information for the product
Ensure Crews have updated plans and manuals for their products
Coordinate Crew arrival with a pre-call and scope to appropriate store contacts
Mail out badges, manuals, and plans
Make Crew Member Badges
