Responsibilities

  • Perform current and long-range land use planning.
  • Conduct research and review development proposals and plats.
  • Compile, analyze, modify, and illustrate economic, social, and physical factors related to land use.
  • Ensure compliance with state and county laws, ordinances, and the county Comprehensive Plan.
  • Independently conduct assigned projects and coordinate with other county departments and stakeholders.
