About The Position

The Associate Planner - Temp is responsible for assisting in the analyzing and forecasting of sales. This position supports the Wholesale business. The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on-site.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in math, business, related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 1-3 years experience in planning or related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Good time management and organization skills
Must be detail oriented
Ability to multi-tasking
Under general supervision, solves problems for self. Complex problems are referred to supervisor.
Under general direction, examines moderately complex information and/or situations and prepares summary, including recommendations for review by others.
Ability to perform extrapolation and analysis, using advanced math calculations.
Ability to understand and follow somewhat complex verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively with others.
Job duties are somewhat varied, occasionally requiring conceptualizing, planning, and implementing.

Responsibilities

Retail Link Expert
Prepare weekly internal & external reports for retail hindsight
Maintain demand forecasts to support Senior Planning
Identify both risks and opportunities, preseason and in season, based on retail analysis
Ad Hoc analysis inclusive of Location, Size and Market Basket analysis
Support Senior Planner with replenishment allocation
Oversee and maintain key data in both Retail Link and Third Party data providers
Ecommerce item set up and maintenance
OTIF and collect supplier reporting, research, and action plans
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
