This position involves reception and telephone duties, proficient operation of laboratory equipment including HIS/LIS systems, specimen handling, receiving and processing, preparation and shipping of lab specimens for Reference Laboratories, specimen/patient registration, and phlebotomy which includes the collection of blood samples by venipuncture or capillary stick, therapeutic blood collection, and swab collection of specific Micro samples. You will also be assigned to OP Lab locations and may be responsible for training new staff as assigned.
