About The Position

The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Responsibilities include filling and dispensing oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders, and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework/Training in Pharmacy technician program.
• Inpatient experience.
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
