About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish).
• Knowledge/understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding.
• Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
• Experience providing customer service.
• Independent means of transportation during work hours for job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, setting a positive tone for their experience.
• Exhibit empathy, courtesy, competence, efficiency, and care in all interactions.
• Schedule appointments and procedures according to standard guidelines.
• Utilize multiple computer and phone systems to address patient needs over the phone.
• Verify patient information and document it in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC).
• Advise patients on their responsibilities regarding insurance and referral information.
