About The Position
First Baptist Church Mayfield is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Youth Pastor to lead and nurture the spiritual growth of our youth. The Youth Pastor will play a vital role in the church community, focusing on teaching, mentoring, and engaging with students in a meaningful way. This position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where young people can explore their faith and develop a strong relationship with God. The Youth Pastor will be responsible for creating and implementing programs that encourage spiritual growth, community involvement, and personal development among the youth. In addition to teaching weekly lessons, the Youth Pastor will disciple students, guiding them in their faith journey and helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence. Organizing youth events is a key responsibility, which includes planning retreats, service projects, and social gatherings that promote fellowship and spiritual growth. The Youth Pastor will also collaborate with other church staff and volunteers to ensure a cohesive approach to youth ministry and to support the overall mission of First Baptist Church Mayfield.
