About The Position

A Manufacturing Associate Outfitter is responsible for performing hands-on production and assembly tasks, often involving the final fitting or installation of components on specific products such as vehicles, or industrial equipment. This role combines general manufacturing duties with specialized finishing skills. Our Company is committed to offering employees opportunities to grow and develop. In this role, you will be responsible for: Assembly and Installation: Installing final finishing parts, such as cables, specific components, or mechanical sub-assemblies, according to detailed instructions and procedures. Equipment Operation: Operating various machinery, hand tools such as wrenches, pneumatic tools, and testing equipment. Documentation and Compliance: Accurately completing production documentation and strictly following Standard Work Plans, Safety Guidelines, and regular Quality checks to ensure product integrity and conformance to work instructions. Performing Work: from Engineering drawings, manufacturing documents, written and verbal instructions. Reading from computer screens to retrieve work instructions, standard work or other documents. In addition, to other related duties as assigned by management. Safety Awareness: maintain a high-level awareness and adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years prior manufacturing or production experience is typically required, with specific experience in a relevant industry (e.g., marine, automotive, furniture) often a plus.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to perform basic math, reading, computer operations, and interpret work instructions, shop orders, sketches, and drawings is necessary to the completion of tasks or work. Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
  • Physical Stamina: The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and using manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring product quality and accurate assembly.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability is highly valued in this collaborative environment.
  • Work Schedule: Willingness and flexibility to work extended hours as needed to accomplish the task.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
