About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level MP&P Engineer (Composite/Interior Composite) to support our team based in Everett, WA. The position involves defining requirements and approving tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture, and/or maintenance of products. The engineer will produce specifications and other documents to manage the deployment of tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes while maintaining compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations. The role promotes standardization across business activities and evaluates emerging technologies for potential application to business needs. Additionally, the engineer will develop and qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes to meet requirements, integrate new technologies as appropriate, and manage test and audit programs to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements. The position also includes conducting analysis to characterize performance or determine reasons for failure of tools, materials, parts, or processes, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and designing, developing, and qualifying computer and production systems to satisfy user requirements. Project management tools will be used to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements, while incorporating environmental health and safety, LEAN, and Quality principles into materials and processes, research, design and qualification, work procedures, and labs and office areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

Responsibilities
