Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), a member of the Texas A&M University System, welcomes applicants for an Associate or Full Professor of Criminal Justice to begin Fall 2026. TAMIU is a Hispanic Serving Institution with over 8,000 students located in Laredo, Texas, a vibrant and bicultural city with a population of about 250,000. The university advances knowledge through research and discovery, teaching and learning, community engagement and public service, and with an intentional focus on student success and research excellence. This is a full-time Associate or Full Professor of Criminal Justice to begin Fall 2026. This is a tenured (9-month) faculty position. Tenure will only be granted after approval of the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents. Primary duties will include conducting research and teaching of face-to-face and online undergraduate courses, online graduate courses, and hybrid doctoral courses. Duties also include service on departmental, college, university, and professional committees, including service on dissertation committees. This position requires face-to-face interactions through a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
